GRACE NOTES

Visual Poems of North America

PUBLICATIONS & PRESS:

Smithsonian Magazine | The Washington Post | M&C SAATCHI | BBC

Grace Notes explores the landscapes and communities of North America’s New Hampshire and Vermont. The work has been framed by the words of American poet, Robert Frost, and his Pulitzer prize winning book titled, ‘New Hampshire: a Poem with Notes and Grace Notes.’ These playful poems and Frost’s gentle mocking of these two obscure states, has been a baseline guide to the work. Traveling between the coast of Portsmouth and the mystical White Mountains near the borders of Canada, in 2017, this series celebrates the isolated countryside and people of North America, in hopes of capturing its mysticism and the timelessness that surrounds it.
